“The latest delivery of offcuts and waste wood from ‘Plantabox' has just gone to a wonderful 90 year old man living in an isolated cottage in East Devon.

He has just given up driving his car and relies on the local farmer for logs. He has been chopping the hardwood logs to make kindling - not always an easy task! So when he saw a dumpy bag full of dry, seasoned, cut-to-size offcuts he was so thrilled. It will last him the winter and, apart from the warmth and convenience, it makes him feel more relaxed and confident about surviving the coming winter. We have reassured him that there is plenty more should he need it.

So another huge 'thank you' to the team at Plantabox who make the extra effort to support this local initiative.”
